disable credentials owa's archive explorer
I'd love to skip authentication when a logged on owa user wants to use its archive explorer. Now it's asking for fqdn credentials. Not all users know that syntax so they fail with 401 warnings. If you were to log on as user@domain it works well. Since the user is already authenticated at its owa session how could I be able to use that as well for archive explorer? (Opening archives works well without extra authentication.) EV 9.02. Exchange all in one. (front and back iis etc etc) 2003 sp2. I thought I'd had to fiddle around with iis on exchange (EnterPriseVaultProxy) Don't know what exactly. Is this article already tackled in EV9? http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH50593Or am I still "suffering" from this?Solved629Views0likes2CommentsRisk Analysis for Enterprise Vault not working
I'm looking for a whitepaper / formula / quicksheet about the following; What is the risk (Chance * Impact) of the Enterprise Vault failing (not picking up an email and storing it in archive). Impact might be derived from mails a day, percentage of business critical, number of users? Secondly, I would like to know if we could set up some kind of warning signal if Symantec Vault for whatever reason, misses an email. Regards, Kees.1.4KViews0likes12CommentsLocal user data
Hello all, I'm getting ready to deploy VMWare View and I was wondering if I could use enterprise vault to capture all of the "My Documents" of my VDI users. This way they would have an very small VMWare DataStore with only shortcuts back to the their original document. Thanks, Chris451Views0likes1CommentMissing OWA Icons
Hello All We recently had an issue where icons were missing for all users in OWA, I removed the backend and front end extensions and this seems to fix the issue. However I have one particular user when logged in OWA icons are not there, I can see the emails archived for this user in the mailbox. Any Ideas? Many Thanks Jun1or1KViews0likes8Comments
