Need more secure file transfer mechanism for downloading patches
Our company is cracking down on security as a result of the OPM hack. All FTP access is blocked, including ftp://ftp.veritas.com. Can you please make downloads available via https links and provide a way to verify downloads have not been tampered with? e.g. a PGP signature3.5KViews1like2Comments
Upgrading OpsCenter Analytics and NetBackup 7.7
Hi, I was going to upgrade NetBackup 7.6.0.x to 7.7. I downloaded all the install packages. Sort tells me to start with upgrading OpsCenter. My current OpsCenter is installed on Solaris 10, which doesn't look like it's supported - Not listed in the Software Compatibilty list. Doany of you know if OpsCenter Analytics 7.7.x ~will~ be supported on Solaris? Or, should I start planning on migrating it to RHEL/OEUL? I am Facing an issue while entering the MS Exchange user credentials in the host profiles of the Mailboxes / CAS servers , giving me "unable to validate user name and password". you will find attached the error pop up to me while trying to add the right credentials However , if i used the same password to login or stop/start netbackup services.
