I am using Backup Exec 2014 on my sever. I recieve the following error in event viewer. Event ID: 33919 Backup Exec Alert: Job Warning (Server: "XXXXXXXX") An unknown application is deleting files from the following folder: C:\ProgramData\Symantec\CRF Files contained in this folder are used by Backup Exec, and deleting them may cause Backup Exec processes to crash. Determine which application is accessing the folder and add the folder to the application's exclusion list. Dear All, I am running Symantec Backup Exec 2010 SP1 I am running daily backup to tape and the attached tape device is HP 1/8 G2 autoloader. Everything was working fine and suddenly the job started to fail with the error in the attached printscreen. After the failure I found that the Device bacaem "Offline" I made sure that the cabling are ok. Device is ok, i can not find any errors. Kindly advice
BE2012 backup VM failed
we are using BE2012 backup the VMhost, the backup media server is a very old IBM server(X236) ,VMverison is Esxi 5.1.0. Services Backup Exec VSS provider cannot start
dear, i have some problem services backup exec vss provider cannot start after installing agent for windows. i install RAWSx64 in windows server 2008 R2. i use syamntec backup exec 2012 Version 14.0 Rev.1798 (64-bit). if i start services occur error "error 1053: the services did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." what's wrong i do? do you have solution?

I have a strange problem, I have contacted Symantec support and they told me that there are known issues with the new version of Symantec Backup Exec 2014 and my best bet was to post it on the forums or keep an eye out for updates.. which I don’t understand… but anyway.. so im hoping someone can help me... my setup, OS is windows 2012 R2 and Exchange 2013 Symantec exec 2014 ver. 14.1 rev 1786 (64bit) - Trial LTO4 tape. the backups keep failing with an access denied error, I have tried deselecting the file paths in question but it still fails. I cant find the option to disable this virtual conversion or sdr…. I don’t even need these components… Backup- \\FH.local\C:V-79-57344-41488 - Due to one or more errors in \\FH.local\C:, this backup cannot be used for conversion to virtual machines, Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR), or a complete online restore.
