Restore from tape fails with 'TAR Read Error' in Backup Exec 6.5

Hallo Allerseits. Ich bin schon seit Jahren sehr zufriedener Nutzer des Open Dource Projectes Code::Blocks (www.codeblocks.org) Leider habe ich seit dem ich Norton 630 (seit Ende letzetn Jahres) benutze immer Probleme mit dem Dowload von aktuellen "nightly builds". Im speziellen wird immer ein und die selbe Datei "cblauncher.exe" als potentielles Problem erkannt. Wenn ich diese dann aber als "False Positive" an Symantec melde, bekomme ich nach einigem hin und her immer als Ergebnis, daß es sich tatsächlich um eine Falsch Dedektierung handelt und die Datei zukünftig nicht mehr als Problem erkannt werden würde. Leider gilt das aber immer nur für die aktuelle Version und mit jedem neuen "nightly build" geht das Theater von vorne los. Nun kann man zwar mutmaßen, daß mit jeder neunen Version sich die Datei inhaltlich ändert und somit auch ein neues "False Positive" nicht zu umgehen ist. Aber leider habe ich das Gefühl, daß jede meiner dies bezüglichen Meldungen wie eine Erst-Meldung behandelt wird, obwohl ich unter "Additional notes" sämmtliche mir zu diesem Thema bekannten "submission" Nummern mit angebe. Es sollte also daraus hervorgehen, daß damit eine längere Geschichte verbunden ist. Hinzu kommt, daß ich bisher jedes mal zwei Meldungen abgeben mußte, da angeblich der angegebene Download-Pfad nicht ohne Passwort zugänglich war oder sonst etwas nicht stimmte. Ich vermute einfach ein Mal, daß hier ein Automat am Werk ist, der einfach nicht darauf eingerichtet ist, um die "Additional notes" zu interpretieren. Wenn dann aber hinterher sich trotzdem jemand noch ein mal die Mühe macht mich um weitere Informationen zu bitten, kann der dann diese nicht gleich in eine Daten-Bank eingeben, auf deren Inhalt man beim nächsten "nightly build" verweisen kann? Ich würde mir wünschen irgendwie angeben zu können, daß die nächste Meldung nicht die erste zu diesem Fall ist. Ich kann ja verstehen, daß ein neues Kompilat unter dem gleichen Namen wieder zu einer Detektierung führen kann, wenn sich das Verhalten nicht ändert. Ich kann auch verstehen, daß es meiner aktieven Mithilfe bedarf, um dieses "False Positive" zu beheben. Aber wenn das regelmäßig der Fall ist, dann müßte es hierzu efektivere Möglichkeiten des Informations-Austausches geben der es auch beinhaltet an mich Rückfragen zustellen, wenn meine Angaben unzureichend oder unverständlich sind. Zum Beispiel habe ich mehrfach versucht, zu erklären, wie sich bei den "nightly builds" der Name der 7zip-Dateien zusammensetzt, die man herunter laden muß und daß diese natürlich auch im Nightly-Forum "http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/board,20.0.html" ein eigenes Topic haben. Irgendwie scheine ich das aber nicht verständlich genug gemacht zu haben. Ich gebe zwar zu, daß mein Englisch nicht das aller beste ist aber es kann nicht nur daran liegen. I recently had fully encrypted hard disk (Toshiba mq01abd075), operating system (Windows 7 Professional), two partition. C (146 GB) and D (548 GB) and 4 GB Unallocated space. I ran the system restore for partition C, after which I was unable to access the operating system. I reinstalled the operating system partition C. I installed PGP WDE, when I entered in the program, partition D does not appear to be decrypted. Partition D appears in My Computer (0 bytes), in computer management at disk management appear 548 GB RAW. If I double click on it ask me for Format, but i've never click Yes, so the second partition was never touch after the problem.After this I reinstalled twice the OS. Now I have windows 8.1 but stil,but still I have not touch the second partition. OpsCenter Version: 7.5.0.7 OS: Windows 2003 NBU Master Version 6.5.5 Key details - The master server is displayed on the main Monitor screen as connected - The master server does not appear in the data collection screen - The master server does appear in the Agent screen (I have deleted/re-added the agent successfully) - I am able to drill down into the master server jobs, drives, media summary, etc from the monitor screen - I am unable to remove the master as it does not appear in the list to remove - I am unable to re-add the master because it already exists - It does not have any aliases - I have re-installed the agent on the master server, restarted all services (NBU & OpsCenter) - I am a security administrator in OpsCenter The master server is setup identically to all the other master servers in our environment and only this master is affected. Hello Gents/Ladies, I have been having issues with my backup job lately and it is with regards to SQL Server backups. I have been getting the follow error messages and I am unsure how to resolve this issue on both of our Full to Tape as well as Differential to Tape: V-79-40960-37914 - Database ProspectTracker is configured to maintain transaction logs. Transaction log backups are not being performed. This will result in the log growing to fill all available disk space. A few of my clients are running a in-house developed application that sends out emails. On some of the clients, seemingly at random, these emails are being blocked by SEP 11 with the following message: as in first instance it say the mail server rejected the message...... The picture is showing the settings / properties of the application, where in I've changed the server name with it's IP address, seems OK, as this time I haven't been denied from Server, but still the client wasn't able to get the message. In second option I've disabled the SEP on the client but NO LUCK. In my nextstep I've removed the SEP completely from client and GUESS WHAT it works and the recepient ha received the message. While using PC Any where for file transferring a file more than 50 GB (approximate transfer time is around 80 min) ,if we have enabled the "disconnect if inactive" and set to 10 Minutes.Even when file transfer is happening the host disconnects ,will pcanywhere doest not consider a File transfer as an activity.Please guide me if any configuration is to be done.Thanks in advance. Running windows 7 64x enterprise system. Loading Ghost64.exe ver 11.5.1.2266 hangs when loaded. Running on an HP 8440W. This used to work on a Dell E6400. Called symantec tech support and they blow. They said that this is the latest version 11.5.1.2266. Found another post saying that you need to contact tech support to get version 11.5.1.2269... Whatever.
