How do I completely uninstall/reinstall Symantec System Recovery 2013?
I want to completely uninstall SSR 2013, including all past drive links, any and all visible or hidden registry entries; exe, bat, msconfig,...whatever other executables, and then reinstall a completely fresh installation? All using my currently downloaded SSR 2013, registered and "paid for" package? Thansks, www.w2agz.com706Views0likes2CommentsWhy is this on my computer

After removing SSR2013 using Program/Features in control panel I get FATAL ERROR: Internal Error 26352, - 2147024891 trying to reinstall SSR2013.I've tried using UninstallSSR2013.bat, but I'm still getting the error. I see a post that says this is fixed in SSR2013 R2, but it says the issue is on WS2012 and beside SSR2013 R2 is different product requiring new product keys for activation, so this is no help to me. It stops during copy of files: File: VTrack.sys, Directory c:\Program FIles\Symantec\Symantec System Recovery\Shared\Drivers\Driver Size: 341568Solved1.4KViews1like3CommentsTrying to re-install SSR 2011 after manual removal - Windows 2003 server.
Hi all, We had an issue with SSR not running correct and on other occations (not with this problematic server) removed and re-installed which normally cures the issue. With this particular server (Windows 2003) - we could not remove the software as it was looking for source files which the end user had 'tidied up' (read deleted) - subsequently he has tried putting the files back and various other methods of repairing/ modifying in an attempt to do a fresh installation. All of which failed. At this point I've tried various articles (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH157372 - removal via batch file, http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH55097 - manual uninstallation) to which now when I come to install the software it still only gives me the options to modify, repair or remove. From what I can tell getting to the final 'step 7' of the manual removal article I would have expected the installation to let me 'install' rather than modify/repair/remove. Any help or pointers would be appriciated. Thanks Wayne.Solved1.1KViews0likes8CommentsUpgrading SEPM v.11 to v.12

Hello Symantec, I recently installed the Symantec Recovery 2013 tool (trial version) on one of my Windows 2008 Servers and I made use of the Copy My HardDrive option. This is the situation; I had two drives C: and D: which I needed to back-up as a fail-over image of my server the intention was to copy the hard drive to another hard drive and remove the drives from the server. I was able to successfully copy C: to G: and D: to F: drives. But alas when I remove the G: and F: drives from my HP G7 server the server fails to boot. Using the "msconfig.exe" I validated that the server still boots from the C: drive however it seems boot configuration data has been written to the G: drive. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Running "bcdedit" from command line everything seems to be fine.
