Netbackup Kostenverrechnung
Hallo Netbackup UserGroup. Wir wollen nach langer Zeit unsere Netbackup Kosten verrechnen und ich wollte mal Informationen und Tipps einholen wie ihr das so macht. Unterm Strich stelle ich mir das so vor. Alle Kosten sammeln, wie: - Hardware ( Server /SAN / Libraries / Drives / Tapes, usw ) - Software / Lizenzen - ggf. Infrastrukturkosten Dann diese Kosten auf ein GB an Kapazität runter rechnen. Da das nicht so einfach geht, weil ja mit jedem weitern eingelegten Tape die Kapazität steigt, frage ich mich wie ihr das macht. Nach meinem Verständnis muss es auch eine Grundgebühr geben welche die Infrastruktutkosten abdeckt, da nicht jeder Server in der Scherung gleich behandelt wird und die geiche Menge an Daten hat die gesichert werden muss.deduplication storage issue
Hi all, I am having the following problem. My deduplication storage needs to be expanded. It is 7.12TB in total and right now is under ythe low disk space threshold. But there are overwritable media in the dedupe folder (i can see from Devices-Deduplication storage). But i still receive the message that the OpenStorage device is out of free space. Please help this is urgent. I created a support ticket, but I have not received any feedback. What are my options here?
Backup running on Wi-Fi connections?
Hello, yesterday was a new implementation of DLO 7.5 and after the first backup it is full, the client asked me if DLO supports if the computer was connected by Wi-Fi, I thought that protocols and networks should be as in a wired network but not if it will be true. Unfortunately did not get a chance to get some comprobrarlo. Could give me feedback about their experiences. Thank you.
Backup Exec 2012 health check guide
Hi, i'm a newbie to this backup exec 2012, and recently we have active contract on supporting this Backup Exec 2012. By supporting this, we need to perform health check or software preventive maintenance on the servers equipped with backup exec 2012 on quarterly basis. Just want to know that whether there are some guidelines or procedures/steps on what we need to include in the health check such as services, connections, patches? Please share with me if anyone know how to prepare a backup exec 2012 health check checklist in order to perform the preventive maintenance for the servers.
