BE2012 backup VM failed
we are using BE2012 backup the VMhost, the backup media server is a very old IBM server(X236) ,VMverison is Esxi 5.1.0. NetBackup Hyper-V 2012 Backup moving Virtual Machine to Save State
Hi Techs, We are facing issue while a Hyper V Backup. When I start a backup of the HyperV of 2012 Server. Virtual Machine is moving to Saved State and backup will start. During the backup. We are unable to access the Virtual Machine and Application. Once backup Completes it will comes to normal State and even during the backup no vss shadows are creating. Any inputs. Rgds, punbs
symantec backup status in vmware 100% but error
Hello all, We have a 5.5 Vcenter & a cluster of 2hosts 5.5. and a backup exec2012. our file server is configured to take weekly full & daily incremental. Backup jobs are compleating succesfully in Backup exec2012 but error are generated every time in Vcenter. Below i have attached the error image. plz help me understand this error as why its happening & how to resolve this error. File server is server 2003 on a VMFS5 data store.
Unable Access Second Partition After Formatting Primary Partition
I recently had fully encrypted hard disk (Toshiba mq01abd075), operating system (Windows 7 Professional), two partition. C (146 GB) and D (548 GB) and 4 GB Unallocated space. I ran the system restore for partition C, after which I was unable to access the operating system. I reinstalled the operating system partition C. I installed PGP WDE, when I entered in the program, partition D does not appear to be decrypted. Partition D appears in My Computer (0 bytes), in computer management at disk management appear 548 GB RAW. If I double click on it ask me for Format, but i've never click Yes, so the second partition was never touch after the problem.After this I reinstalled twice the OS. Now I have windows 8.1 but stil,but still I have not touch the second partition. I've tried to decrypt the drive with a few tutorials such as(WinPE and put the hard disk as second partition): http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH170574 http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH149478 Give me various errors suchs as: "Could not locate valid BGFS record. Recovey failed! Operation recover disk failed: Error code -11984 item not found" or "Disk 1 is not instrumented by bootguard" and others. I know was my fault. Please give me a solution. Backup running on Wi-Fi connections?
Hello, yesterday was a new implementation of DLO 7.5 and after the first backup it is full, the client asked me if DLO supports if the computer was connected by Wi-Fi, I thought that protocols and networks should be as in a wired network but not if it will be true. Hi, i'm a newbie to this backup exec 2012, and recently we have active contract on supporting this Backup Exec 2012. By supporting this, we need to perform health check or software preventive maintenance on the servers equipped with backup exec 2012 on quarterly basis. Just want to know that whether there are some guidelines or procedures/steps on what we need to include in the health check such as services, connections, patches? Please share with me if anyone know how to prepare a backup exec 2012 health check checklist in order to perform the preventive maintenance for the servers. Thanks
