vSphere vmware plugin installation from primary on FlexHA
Hello, i'm trying to install the vSphere plugin from a NBU 10.0.0.1 primary server on a 5250Flex but in can't in anyway start the vwcp_manage command. It always notifies me about missing packages (for example librender1). How can i solve this? I've looked for a specific guide but i've found nothing. Thank you!749Views0likes2CommentsvCenter 7.0 and NetBackup 8.1(Appliance version 3.1) incompatibility Issue. Backup Fails!
Hello, First of all, I'm not familiar with NetBackup. I just noticed that all VMware VM backups fail after I upgraded vCenter from 6.7 to 7.0. NetBackup 8.1 console> Media and Device Management> Credentials> Virtual Machine Server, the login to new vCenter fails, which I think why all VM backup fails. NetBackup Core Support confirmed that this is incompatiblity issue and I have to upgrade my Appliance and the other media server and Netbackup to upper version. Can anyone layout the steps and links how I can perform this upgrade? I searched knowledge bases but Appliance white papers talk about only appliance, Netbackup talks about only netbackup upgreade. Much Appreciated in advance.852Views0likes1CommentIntroducing Backup Exec 21 - Simple, Secure and Unified Data Protection

Hi Experts, I've got an issue during the export of the vSphere inventory. The Field "NB_LAST_BACKUP" contains a number of special characters including commas, hyphens and even "carriage return". This makes the .csv-Export unusable for further processing. Is it possible to restrict or influence the content of the "NB_LAST_BACKUP" Field in order to avoid all special characters? Any input is highly appreciated! Thanks and Regards Christian1.3KViews0likes3CommentsNuts and bolts in NetBackup for VMware: Understanding V-Ray vision through backup process flow
