(Desktop and Laptop Option 8.0) Problem to restore pst files 2010 and 2013, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 - Desktp
Dear I'm trying to restore pst files outlook 2013 for windows station 8.1, the original folder, but this presented error in the restoration: Failed to restore C:\ Users\Reception\DOCUMENTS\FILES OUTLOOK \ outlook.pst. Error reading the source file. The components of this file parts are missing or out of order I am grateful for the helpDLO Dedupe Performance
Hi, I have inquiries below regarding DLO Dedupe. Does DLO Dedupe technology is different with BE/NBU? If yes, do we have a whitepaper or documentation for this? Do we have a sizing tool for Dedupe Storage? or can I use the NBU Sizing tool? As per check with other discussion that DLO Dedupe provides source-side De-Duplication. Does this mean that it usesthe Desktop/Laptop large resouces when running a backup? Thank you!
Want to recreate user in the DLO to have new fresh backup
I want to do a newly fresh backup of existing in DLO user. Scenario: 1) I have deleted this user from the "users" tab in the console. 2) Then i checked all of his backups are deleted and then i have deleted his NUDF. 3) Also i have uninstalled the DLO Agent from the users computer. Afterwards 1) I recreated user in the DLO 2) Reinstalled DLO Agent to the user's computer 3) Reboot, rerun and so on. Eventually in the backup of this user's computer appears only files that he creates after reinstalling DLO / recreating this user. Only new files. Old files that was in his deleted backup do not appear (еhese files are on hiscomputer, not in DUDF). Iguessthe server still keeps details of past backups of this user. How can i totally clean all the information about the user in DLO to recreate it and get fresh new backup?
Symantec Laptop and desktop
I have a question about DLO backup. We have Symantec Laptop and Desktop 7.6 installed on our server for file backups. Can you can access backups that are older thanthe most recent backup? Right now I only see the option to restore files/folders from the most recent backup. We need one from a day or two before.
Issue running DLO 7.6 SP1 Agent on Mac
Hi We have several Macs in our company which are not connected to our domain. So, we use a local account on the Mac and then use a VPN client to connect to domain resources using a domain account. We have just recently upgraded a test DLO server to DLO 7.6 SP1 and want to now test the Mac agents. We successfully installed the agent on two Macs, but when we run the agent we get a dialog box with the below details: Please enter your password for the account below. The account will be used to connect to the Media Server. User Name: Password: O Save encrypted passwords used by DLO We are unable to change the User Name in the above dialog box as it it greyed out and has the local Mac account entered. Do you know how this can be changed so that we can enter a domain account and start backing up data using DLO? Thanks JimmySMB traffic from storage location to console server
We've recently installed DLO v8.0 SP1 on a server based in our UK office. We have a second server in our Belgium office with a storage location (with a dedupe storage location)and maintenance server, backing up approximately 30users at the Belgian site. However we’re noticing a large amount of SMB traffic coming from the server in Belgium to the server in the UK. Any ideas why this would be?
