Corps vs. Corps of Engineers
Using Discover Accelerator (8), I just ran a pair of searches - one looking for occurrences of the word Corps and the other for "Corps of Engineers" (in quotes). The "corps" query returned 3 hits while "Corps of Engineers" returned 3080. As I would have expected, the "corps" hits were due to isolated instances of this word (as opposed to substrings), while the "Corps of Engineers" hits all referred to hits on the complete string. This seems counterintuitive to me, unless there is some quirk in DA that I'm overlooking. Any ideas why things might be working this way? We're an EV SP3 site. Thanks! When I try to run Discovery Accelerator on my dual-monitored desktop PC, both screens go black then start flashing - one then the other. I'm running XP SP3 on a Dell OptiPlex GX520. The video card is a Matrox G450 (or compatable, anyhow). Has anybody else run into this problem or can anyone confirm they have had success with running DA in a dual-monitor configuration? Many thanks, KeithSolved749Views0likes3Comments
