Hello,
I have at least two distinct environments where Backup Exec 16 is unable to restore Exchange 2016 mailboxes. It is configured to back up Exchange with GRT, the credentials tests are all successful, the Backup Exec system logon account is a domain admin with an active mailbox which is not hidden, all backup reports are "successful", but test restoration of individual mailboxes systematically fail.
When attempting to restore, you cannot drill down below the "Database" level. Either you get nothing, or you get "unknown error (95)". Has anyone got a solution?
Given that the ONLY reason why we still recommend Backup Exec is the functionality to restore individual mailboxes and mail items, this is a showstopper for this product.
