Hi,
We using EV 8.0 SP4 and some users do not be archiving items in mailbox, we focus on three of them. When we made to archive over his mailboxes, the system do nothing, then when I review the event viewer I can see some errors they are 8390 and 8202, the information in there say nothing to me, I reviewed for this errors in web but the information is about an old version of Vault.
Are there anybody that can give me ideas?

Carlos Espinoza

Finally after reviewing the log file obtaining in the trace (as Tony was suggested) I found the following error:
Failed to get custom properties. [0xc004710f]
Searching in the knowledgebase I found the document: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH136409
I applied the hotfix suggested, then the system starting the archiving in the mailbox.

Hi Carlos,
Please post the actual events you are seeing, the information may vary even though the Event ID is the same. Also, what version of Exchange are you archiving?
Another thing you can do is dtrace whilst doing a run now against one of the problematic mailboxes. You can use this technote to help set that up and then attach the log to your post.
