File Archive shortcut deletion

Can we set a policy in the file server archive that users cannot delete the placeholders(shortcut) ? (from the fileshares in the NTFS )

No, I don't think you can do this in EV.  I am pretty sure it would need to be controlled by File Server share permissions.

FWIW I think Tony is correct.  If the user had permissions to delete the original file, then they also have permissions to delete the placeholder when that has replaced the original file.

Therefore modify the share permissions to prevent deletes.
