Quick Question - Rename a file archive

Hi Folks,

My FSA is very rusty, and my VM Lab is down at the moment so I can't test - but are there any issues renaming a file archive (to avoid for instance, duplicate folder/archive names)?

I assume it works just fine. Just looking for confirmation.

No, that will not change the name of the folder on the file system, just the archive.

Should not be a problem, here is a technote to reference for you.

You can just rename the archive from the admin console as well though right? Without changing the folder name - or are the two linked? I can't see this specific question answered. Could be blind.

You want to rename it on the archivepoint.  If you just rename the archive it will get changed back on the next archive run.

Alrighty then - and that will also change the name of the folder, or no?

Seems odd that you can change the archive name at all, if it can't become permanent.
