Vault store Marked for Deletion but still present in the VAC

Zenworks2001

Hi all,

We want to remove an FSA server and the corresponding Vault store. All tasks have been removed and the only service is the Storage Service.

The corresponding Vault store has been deleted from VAC but it remains in status "Marked for Deletion".

I've posted the dtrace log for "Storagedelete" process

Note: all archives have been dearchived before disengagement of the server

The references below didn't help me:

Simple question but I take it you made sure there are no more archives in that vault store?

But has the actual archives been deleted? For instance if you do a USE vaultstoredbname SELECT * FROM ArchivePoint Does anything come back?

Do you see empty folders in the vault store partitions? I could see these messages in the dtrace:

No attempt will be made to delete its Fingerprint databases and DirDB entries.

Check if you have EV in backup and restart the EV Storage Service to trigger the Storage Delete process again.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

can you pelase confirm from VAC whether the partition for Vaultstore in question has been deleted..

if Not..

Remove the files from the partition location and restart the storage service..

Hi all,

1- Two line are returned bu running followinng query:

USE vaultstoredbname
SELECT * FROM ArchivePoint

2- Folders are empty but not sure ALL of them are empty.

3- Vault store is not in backup mode

I suppose fact they're 2 entries in the DB "Vaultstoredbname" means FSA archives are still present but from VAC (Archives > File System) the're nothing
