how to upgrade exhange server 2003 to 2010 if EV 9 has been installed?

Hi all,

 

The exchange server 2003 has been archived by Enterprise vault 9, but if the exchange server had to upgurade to 2010 and still be archived by the same EV server, how to to it?

Thanks.

But during exchange 2003 upgrading to 2010, shall I do something in the EV server? or after exchange server upgurading, then re-configure the EV server to archive exchange 2010?

another question is how to keep the archived mail and calenar, which has been archive in exchange 2003, still available after upgrading?

You won't need to do much on EV until after you have Exchange 2010 up and going.  After that you can make the appropriate changes as outlined in the documentation. 

The users mailboxes will still be associated with their archives as long as you  not creating new mailboxes on Exch 2010 for them, so no problems there.
