NBU 5230/5030 Replication Encription solution

Hi All,

I need a solution for both 5230 and 5030 appliances encripting  replicated data.

We have two site  A and B so we what to enable encription the date to send from A to B. 

I need solution to configure it

Also it will be nice if you can let me know wheter this config require netbackup services restart

Hi All,

Thanks all for your usefull informations. But one more question. pd.conf has to encription type

# Optimized-duplication encryption (0=Off, 1=On)
OPTDUP_ENCRYPTION = 0

and 

# Encryption (0=Disabled, 1=Enabled)
ENCRYPTION = 0

What are the differances? Customer would like to use encription in replication two sites.

I did research but couyld not find any usefull explanation.

That is for encryption of data at rest locally. The pd.conf handles more than replication.
