Incorrect PDDO disk pool size

HI,

I use NBU in conjunction with PureDisk, I mean I use PDDO
I recently added a node in my PureDisk Storage Pool. This node is Content Router and MetaBase Engine
The new node add been successfully added to the Storage Pool.

Bur the PDDO diskpool size is not reported correctly in NBU.

Puredisk 6603
NBU 7.0 runing on w2k3 R2 x64

Any idea ?

Hi,

Have you tried to inventory the disk pool?

Media and Device management -> Devices -> Disk pools ->  disk pool (right click) -> Inventory Disk pool.

If this step hasn't been done, then should get you going.

I tried to inventory the DiskPool thru Media and Device management -> Devices -> Disk pools ->  disk pool (right click) -> Inventory Disk pool
But it did not change the Disk Pool Size ...

Check if there is a difference between nbdevquery and crcontrol

nbdevquery -U -listdv -stype Puredisk

Then login to the PD server and check the space reported by PD:

/opt/pdcr/bin/crcontrol --dsstat

if nbdevquery is showing the correct output, then this might by issue with GUI.

I found this technote which is for MSDP but problem looks similar:

Each CR (the new one and the new added one) report the right capacity thru crcontrol --dsstat

nbdevquery works ... but do not report the correct size ...

It's like the new added CR is not seen ...

I already use NBU7.0.1FA

for both CR (in the same Storage Pool), everythings seems correct ...
puredisk is SPA MBE MBS and CR
puredisk-n2 is MBE and CR

I've simply forgotten to activate my new added Content Router thru PureDisk webUI Setting > topology > NewAddedNode > Content Router > Activate
