Hi All,

Just a small info is needed. Is it mandatory to attend the 5 days training in Symantec Corp or can we get the training even outside.

Please give me a clear cut idea on this. I am in a total confusion..

Really appreciate a quick response.

It depends what exam you will give.

if you give only Administration of Symantec NetBackup 7.5 for Windows or Unix, you will be symantec specialist http://www.symantec.com/products-solutions/training/certification/path.jsp?pathID=scs_program

If you give netbackup and Administration of Symantec Backup Exec 2012, you will be symantec certified Professional http://www.symantec.com/products-solutions/training/training-paths/path.jsp?pathID=data_protection_s...

If you are working for a partner you have to go for STS (via partnernet) and if you are experienced enough, for ASC

No, you do not have to attend the trainings. just register for the test.

But it is useful. It will clear and put your mind in a line.

Hi Stefano,

So inspite of not attending the training also we will be called as certified profession right?

Thanks..
