Hi,
I've been looking in the compatibility guides and trying to find any article to see if NetBackup 7.6.1.1 has support for Oracle 11g Express Edition. However, I haven't been able to find any document stating explicitly if Express Edition in particular is supported or not. Can any share info on this, on whether they have been able to configure Oracle backups with 11g Express Edition.
Thanks,
Saqib

Oracle 11 XE can't store no more than 11 gigabyte of data, and can't use more than 1G of RMAN.
Backup to local disk will work using RMAN , you can then use Netbackup to backup the RMAN files.

Sorry to say that Oracle XE is not supported.
Is it possible that it will work? I am trained not to answer. :)
