Have a look at 7.0.1 LBN : http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH139092

(ET2106924)  Duplications fail with a Status Code 191/233/44,
Image expiration also does not occur on Windows Master servers

Thanks for your reply.

Since i am not running a job to clean up all tapes.

I just wait the system automatically expired the tapes.

Therefore, is it the same case with that KB ?

Image Cleanup runs automatically on a master server. The default is every 12 hours as well as at the end of a backup session.

The downloable hotfix in the TN fixes a problem with 'Image Cleanup completes (Status 0) but is not cleaning images.'

So yes, the hotfix is for automatic expiration that is not taking place.

Yes - the default of every 12 hours can be changed. Open Host Properties -> Master Server -> Clean-up -> Image cleanup.

Extract from Admin Guide I:

The Image cleanup property specifies the maximum interval that can elapse
before an image cleanup is run. Image cleanup is run after every successful backup
session (that is, a session in which at least one backup runs successfully). If a
backup session exceeds this maximum interval, an image cleanup is initiated.

to modify the default image clean up, you have to select "Open Host Properties -> Master Server -> Right click and select Properties. under Properties select "Clean up".
