Hello,
Please your comments about this issue, we are restoring an Oracle DB but at the end we have the following error:
The backup was successful.

if this is an actual restore, I suggest you to open a case.
If it is a test, can you provide the flowing:
Unfortunately a successful oracle full backup in the activity monitor is not guarantee a successful restore of oracle if you do not pay attenuation at the log backups. To restore oracle, you need the oracle full backup and the logs that are created during the backup. And possible some more. And this is true bit only for netbackup but for all backup software.
Open bphdb and dbclient logs on the client and bpbrm on the media server with verbose 5 to investigate it

Hello,
Thanks for your response, one additional detail that may be causing this issue, the time when the Data Protector tool is backing up once a day the entire database and twice a day the archive logs, could this be the cause of these issues?

Its OK. Almost all companies do a full backup daily and log backups evry x hours.
I think that you must find an engineer to check your backup configuration.
Do you have netbackup or Dataprotector?
Is there any possibility that you use one software to do the full and another for the logs? Or the "old" software run backups without your knowledge?

Hello,
Thanks again, the official software is Data Protector, we are replacing it with NetBackup, but until we prove that the restoration is successful Data Protector will not be operational yet.
We cannot yet segment the backups so that one executes the full backup and the other archive logs.
That's why we are trying to make the restore successful and that's also why my question was about backing up the same database with two tools could be causing this type of behavior.
Regards

This is a big YES
If the client is a linux/unix system check that you have the correct Link of the Oracle database backup library file to NetBackup and not to DataProtector.
