Suspended Media

Hello Experts,

I could see many medias in one of the library in Suspended state. No idea Who did it and why?

Does netbackup do it on its own? Any troublesooting steps to check how these got suspended?

NetBackup does not do this on its own. Well, I have in 16 years with NBU and supporting lots of customers not seen this happening by itself. When Vault is configured, there is an option in Vault profile to suspend tapes. Otherwise, it is done manually.

Vault is the only way NBU can 'suspend' tapes, as correctly pointed out by Marianne.  Otherwise, it has been done manually.
