Dear all, we have a prospective customer that needs bare-metal restore for a Windows Server with Hyper-V (11 VMs). They want to use a current HPE MSL2024 tape library with 2x LTO-9 drives.

Is it supported/certified using LTO-9 tape libraries as a backup target for System Recovery v23?

Looking at the user guide: it shows the following information

Removable media

Veritas System Recovery also lets you save recovery points to most USB devices, 1394 FireWire devices, RDX, REV, Jaz, Zip drives, and magneto-optical devices.
