I am facing the below listed issue with my RAC cluster on XP storage array. But I am not able to access hot fix 7 .
The system is hanging and to recover I have to power cycle every time when I do the hastop -all.

In a VxVM striped volume VEA displayes subdisks details and column number.

For Raid5 volume it marks volume display as NEEDSYNC
when stop and start the volume , it does resync operation.
What exactly this doing is not clear to me, doest it writes entire data or just creating the
