i have 1 VM server which which is getting backed up by VM policy. 1 of the drive attached to the server is not getting backed up in the full backup as well.All the drives are coming from data store and i have not excluded any of the drive.
@Lowell_Palecek Thank you for the insight. I have installed the Veritas VSS usitility and it removed the VMWare snapshot provider and required a reboot. The backups are working as expected.@sdo Thanks for the efforts. The issue is sorted.

The issue was because of the bug present in NetApp data OnTap 8.2.x OS. The inodes and metadata are not sent to the netbackup server. However Netbackup 7.7.3 is unable to detect this and backup completes successfully. The restore is not possible.
