Identify Disk Manufacturer on the 5230 Expansion Shelf

JasonRkr
Level 4

Good morning, all.  Short of pulling the drive and looking, is there a way to get the disk manufacturer info from a 5230 appliance?  I'm able to see limited info in the appliance WebUI and through the CLISH, like size and serial number, but that specific data point seems to be missing.

Thank you,

Jason

Hello

how about this outcome?

you have to be in manage/software to run firmware status - also what release you are on?

quebek,

Thank you for sharing that.  I'm running v3.2 and while the Vendor field is missing it does at least provide a "FW Component" column that contains the disk model.  Like the snip you provided, I have disk model ST1000NM0023 in the primary appliance and then disk model ST3000NM0023 in the expansion shelf.

Regards,

Jason
