Hello gentle reader, my name is Andy Spencer and I'm your Global Product Marketing Lead for Backup Exec. Let me be the latest to welcome you to VOX. You've made it this far so you know VOX is the new "skin" for what has been a very passionate Veritas community. It's a pretty cool skin that should serve the muscles and bones of this commmunity well.
At a recent meeting with our Engineering, Product Management and Support teams, I heard clearly that our strong technical minds want to share their passion for Backup Exec. So I signed up a few of our engineers and backline support for VOX blog duty. In the coming months you'll see a wide variety of topics on these pages. We invite you to respond and engage.
I'm looking forward to better understanding your experience as users of Backup Exec. It doesn't matter if you're two months, two years, or two decades deep, your input is important. Your use cases, your backup strategies, and your shifting landscape deeply influence future versions. Share your knowledge and experience with fellow Backup Exec users and consultants. Your Backup Exec product team will listen respectfully and together we will build better solutions. Without you, gentle user, Backup Exec would be pointless.
