Please join Veritas’ GIVE Employee Resource Group (ERG) in its upcoming Blood Drive, on March 7th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific.
GIVE leader, Sinead Borgersen, played a meaningful role in arranging and promoting the March 7th drive, and given her personal background in support of local blood collection, it’s no surprise. Following the diagnosis of Borgersen’s eight-year-old son, Faelan, with hereditary spherocytosis, she felt the importance of blood donation in a uniquely personal way.
Speaking to her son’s experience, Borgersen shares, “It's only manageable, though, because strangers donated blood to give to children like Faelan. Without those magic batteries - he wouldn't be alive.”
At Veritas, we are grateful to help play a part in supporting those like Borgersen and her son in living a fuller, healthier life.
