In September, the Corporate Responsibility team and the Sustainability at Veritas Empowered (SAVE) group partnered with Bay Area SunShares to host a brown bag workshop. SunShares is a renewable energy program that uses the group buying power of over forty cities and companies to offer discounts from pre-vetted providers, for both residential solar and electric vehicles, to Bay Area residents.
During the workshop, Christina Armor, a representative from SunShares, discussed the process and benefit of going solar. Alongside Christina were representatives from Skytech Solar and SunPower who engaged in an informative question and answer session with attendees.
Closing the workshop on a helpful note, Christina expressed, “The hardest part of people going solar is knowing where to go for information, SunShares helps simplify that process,” inviting attendees to utilize SunShare as a resource hub.
