Veritas Technologies is participating in ENERGY STAR Day – an annual celebration of the benefits of energy efficiency by the Environmental Protection Agency and ENERGY STAR partners. In 2018, the focus of the October 23rd event is on the importance of efficient hardware among underserved audiences, like consumers and organizations in rural areas.
Products that earn the ENERGY STAR label, like Veritas Access, Flex, and NetBackup Appliances, are independently certified to use less energy, saving utility costs. This ENERGY STAR Day and every day, ENERGY STAR is dedicated to helping businesses save for good, and those of us at Veritas are pleased to share this charge.
In support of ENERGY STAR Day, we’re inviting Veritas customers, partners, and staff to better understand our ENERGY STAR-certified Appliances, including insight to the design and development of Access, Flex, and NetBackup Appliances in pursuit of energy savings. Additionally, we'll be sharing details on our internal initiatives to improve resource consumption – efforts led by the company's dedicated Employee Resource Groups across the globe.
