Looking for NetBackup partner in Eastern ontario
Hi Veritas Partners, We are looking for a partner to help us with frontline support for our Veritas Netbackup environment across 3 datacenters and 250 TB of data. We are also migrating from 7.7.1 to 8.1.1 within the next month as we have to migrate for Vmware 6.5u2. Please let me kow if you are a partner that can support the Ottawa area. hi, recently i manually expired somes images, to freeup a QUANTUM Appliance. so when i did it, and the cleanup job passed successfuly, i got this message in the activity monitor of this job : 05/10/2017 16:51:57 - Info bpdbm(pid=5561) image catalog cleanup 05/10/2017 16:51:57 - Info bpdbm(pid=5561) Cleaning up tables in the relational database 05/10/2017 16:51:57 - Info bpdbm(pid=5561) deleting images which expire before Thu Oct 5 16:51:57 2017 (1507215117) 05/10/2017 16:52:21 - Info bpdbm(pid=5561) deleted 0 expired records, compressed 0, tir removed 0, deleted 0 expired copies the requested operation was successfully completed(0) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- i don't know why this job can not find the expired images ? when i type "nbstlutil list -backupid XXXXXX -U", or "bpimagelist", i find that the image is no longer there. how can i check if the cleanup is able to freeup the disk space ? and need to understand please, why the job show's : deleted 0 expired records, compressed 0, tir removed 0, deleted 0 expired copies. Veritas Partners' Renewals Portal, unusable...
I am having repeated problems with the Veritas Partners' Renewals Portal. I have opened a case about this, in the past and the issue went away, briefly. However, it appears that this issue is happening frequently. I am able to log into the portal, without any issues; however, once in the portal, the menu options are pretty much non-responsive. I am able to see the "Current Opportunities" page, but the other tabs either take several minutes to load or just time out. I have opened another case, with their customer care team, but thought I'd check with the community, to see if anybody else is having issues. It may or may not be relevant, but I am in Australia, so often accessing the site, out of US normal office hours. I say this because the site appears to work most reliably duringUSoffice hours! I've just realised this forum drops new posts into the North American forum, by default. We took the backup at Site B –STHQ...... –With Site B Master server –STHQB...... and our expectation to see this backup from different server –Site A Database server –using the Site A –Master server.
