Backup exec 20

Hello Team,

I need inforamtion about backp exec 20.

What is new in backup exec 20? Also need to know can I upgrade backup exec 12 directly to backup exec 20?

Also please let me know from where I can download setup of backup exec 20.

On symantec website still I am getting option to download backup exec 16 only.

    Click on Licensing
    Login and then click on downloads and you should find it there.

    when you say Backup Exec 12 , do you mean BE 12.0 or BE 2012
    If BE 12.0 then I would suggest better to Install 20.1 fresh and setup. Depending on the feasibility of recovering from old backup sets

    If BE 2012, then upgrade to BE 16 and then upgrade to BE 20.1. Refer HCL and SCL of this version to make sure all is supported in this version prior to upgrade.

        I have one more query. If I have backup exec 15 installaed on my system, and if I have to upgrade it to backup exec 20.

        Then do I need to purchase the backup exec 20 license or same license [Backup exec 15] will work in backup exec 20.
