Dell EMC ML3 only shows 35 slots in Backup Exec but actually have 40 slots?

Hi all,

We have a Dell EMC ML3 Tape Library and are evaluating Backup Exec 22 to run with it. In Backup Exec only 35 slots out of 40 are detected in the tape library. Is there anyone who have a clue how to solve this problem? We are about to decide on running Backup Exec or not and this is a showstopper!

Backup Exec runs in a Windows server 2022 std edition.

    SOLVED

    I can answer this myself - there were 5 slots setup as I/O slots and they were not visible.

    Thanks for posting the solution. I was just making myself a coffee mulling over why BE wouldn't show all slots and wondering whether in the details section of Device Manager for the Medium Changer it somewhere lists the number of slots... (but I don't believe it does).
