Using BE v22 to perform object storage backup to tape

Hi all,

We have a customer using on premises object storage: a NetApp FAS exporting S3 to different applications.

How can we protect the given S3 storage to perform a tape based backup using Veritas products?

Is it supported with BackupExec v22?

    You would have to back it up some NetApp utility.  BE does not support the backup you want.

      Hi pkh,

      There are no entries in the HCL or SCL about object storage as a data source, only as a backup target.

      In this case, the object storage repository is the source of backup to be protected to tape.
