Some questions about CloudPoint
Hello everyone,
I have some question about CloudPoint, could anyone answer it when free ?
1. Will CloudPoint integrate with Netbackup? If yes, how to integrate ? As a plug-in ?
2. Does CloudPoint can only backup Oracle database ?
3. What is FlexSnap certification?

Will CloudPoint integrate with Netbackup? If yes, how to integrate ? As a plug-in ?
Ans : Cloudpoint is used to manage yours snapshot and snapshot-able devices. Any storage subsystem providing functionality of taking snapshot of snapshot-able device can be integrated as a plugin with Cloudpoint.
So cloudpoint cannot consume Netbackup as a Plugin. In other way is possible where cluodpoint can be integrated with NetBackup for their snapshot management.
Does CloudPoint can only backup Oracle database ?
Ans : Yes Cloudpoint can take Oracle Database backup[Application consistency]. As Cloudpoint is taking disk level backup. So any Other Application on disk will be taken as crass consistency backup. In future we will have the support of Application consistency for other aplication as well.
What is FlexSnap certification?
Ans : Do you mean by application[Oracle,etc..] certification. If yes, currently we don’t have.
