Does the VRP entitlement that comes with version 8.3 cover VRP integration with NetBackup only?
No it does not have that restriction, it's a great deal. The VRP entitlement in the NetBackup Complete Edition Capacity license includes all VRP use cases. This applies to NBU 8.3 and VRP 3.5 onward. The primary use cases are:
- Orchestration of workload protected by NBU as data mover
- Orchestration of workload protected only by VRP data mover
- Orchestration of workload protected by InfoScale
- Orchestration of workload protected by Array replication
