Hi,
Yes it can protect both RDM and regular VMDK's. The only limitation is that the initial sync is done via the vmguest and not across the SAN (which makes it slower). This is being addressed and will be available in the next release.

I'd assume you protect it like a physical server? Stick agent in guest OS, and away you go. That seems to be the RDM workaround everywhere.

Can you give some details about the architecture and what is needed to protect a Vmware Virtual Machine on DAS?
Netbackup Realtime 7.1 does work for vmdk on DAS.

Netbackup feature says it would protect VMDK under Vmware...
i'm also downloading the same .
