Will backup chain break if I change Exchange selection?

Our Exchange backups are broken up by subets of databases. One job was mistakingly setup to backup the DAG and include the databases below. The individual databases backup fine, but the DAG fails. If...

I have not tested this but I think the chain will continue if you select same databases in the job.

Can you provide details on the failure? Are you facing issue mentioned in https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000115711 ?
