Manage Cluster enviroment using Java Console

Hi everyone!

I kindly appreciate your help with the following questions I have:

1.- Can we manage a cluster enviroment using the Veritas Cluster Manager (Java Console) being installed in a computer (OS Windows 7 Professional) that is not member of the cluster? if so, how to do it? where can I download the Java Console?

2.- Can we sent event notifications to computers that are not members of the cluster, as an example suppose that a node of the cluster is down, and we want to notify the users about this event maybe using an email or any medium to get the message reported? if so how to do it?

Attached you will find the version of Java Console already installed on the servers that are member of the cluster!

    >>> Yes, you can very well manage clusters using Java console installed on any laptop. Its just a client, you need to add the clusters to Java console using "Add Cluster" option in Java console. Software can be downloaded from below web

    >>> Yes, you can do this. You need to configure notifier resources in the cluster. You can then send notifications via mail server to any email ID (not necessary to be part of cluster)
