Veritas Storage Foundation and HA 6.0 installation problem

Hi Guys,

I'm installing Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability 6.0 for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 x64. While installing SFHA I've encountered a problem regarding RPMS.

Here's the error:

CPI ERROR V-9-30-2015 The following required OS rpms were not found on <hostname>:

I tried to install these rpms but there's dependency requirements for these. Here's the error.

[root@<hostname> RPMS]# rpm -Uvh libstdc++-4.4.6-3.el6.i686.rpm

I also tried yum update command to download these RPMS but the message says:

[root@<hostname> RPMS]# yum update
Loaded plugins: product-id, security, subscription-manager
Updating certificate-based repositories.
Setting up Update Process
No Packages marked for Update

Where can I download these RPMS?

Thanks.

  • You should be able to download all necessary Red Hat packages from your RHN (redhat network) portal.  https://rhn.redhat.com

    This of course assumes that your red hat support subscription is registered and up-to-date.
