Error category : Resource ErrorsError : e000032d - The consistency check of the snapshot for the Microsoft Exchange transaction log has failed. You should check for possible data corruption in the transaction log that is online.

Done below troubleshooting

 

Exchange VSS Writer (instance 544bb1ea-5d9e-4b29-939e-b38152618696:98) has unsuccessfully completed the backup of storage group 'SCEXSG03'. No log files have been truncated for this storage group.

 

From event log of Exchange Server:

Instance 1: One or more errors were detected while validating the transaction log files in '\\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy237\Program Files\MicrosoftExchange Server\Mailbox\SCEXSG03\' with a base name of 'E04'. The operation failed with error code -528 (0xfffffdf0).

What could be possible Root cause & solution?

  • Problem is resolved after removing consistency check option , GRT checkbox & then firing backup. After successful completion of backup again reverting to original configurations

      But craig, this was working fine till couple of weeks back. Anyhow will try this solution
