Re: MSXML 4.0 /4.0 SP2 failed to install Document ID: 286004 error V-225-235
I was able to finally get past this problem. In my case it was finding the MSXML program and running but then getting an error that was logged in the log file. I tried the install on another server and got the same error so I really believed it was in the install procedure where the problem lied. I first moved the folder 11d to the root of the D: because I was getting a folder not found message. This fiorst step may not be necessary, but it was in the sequence of things I did. THIS IS THE MAIN PART OF THE ANSWER HERE: After doing that I saw in the log that the setup was looking for MSXML2.MSI so I copied the MSXML.MSI to MSXML2.MSI and then it found it and it worked.515Views0likes0Comments
