Und hier die Details zum Script: Recovery Manager: Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production on Do Nov 26 12:17:12 2015 Copyright (c) 1982, 2009, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Gruß Stephan.489Views0likes0CommentsConfigure Oracle Agent (12c RAC DB) on Linux (OL6u5)

Hi, I've never used Backup Exec and IIwould like to know if Backup Exec can answermy requests before to decide to use it for our customers. Context: We install our application at our customers, the application usean Oracle database - The size of database can vary from30GB to 600GB - The database is install in a Windows server 2003,2008 or 2012 -The objectif is to backup the Oracle Database running on the server - Only 1 database to backup (for each installation) - The backup destination will be ashared network directory - 1 full backup perday Requirements: - Backup Exec + Agent should install on the same server - Backup should run automatically once a day. Questions: - In case when the server crashes, does it easy to restore the database in the other server ? - Does Backup Exec uses RMAN to do the Oracle database backup ? - Does the backup set can be used by RMAN ? - Does it common to install Backup Exec on the same server ? what is your recommandations ? I need to restore backup of Oracle database in different location the original.I need to restore only the datafiles for the purpose of creating a new instance on the same server. My need is only restore data to another location to then recreate a new instance. Currently when I try to restore to another location, the backup system restores elsewhere, however, it is changing the controlfiles the original database that is in use. Already worked in the past with Arcserve and it was possible to back up with the Agent for Oracle, however, when it was possible to restore a server choose any disk to restore only the datafile without modifying the active instance.
