How can I set up to backup Openshift and Openstack ?
Hi everyone, I am currently using NetBackup 11. Recently, I have a task to backup 1 Openshift system and 1 Openstack system. However, I barely works with Openstack and Openshift, and I don't know where to start. I need to configure these sections on NetBackup as soon as possible. Can anyone give me some advices about where to start please ? For example: What kind information I have to get from the Openshift and Openstack team to get this done ? Do I need to set up on both side (NetBackup and the Openshift/Openstack side) or just NetBackup side ?
Editing Host file on Netbackup 5520 appliance
I could do with some help on what options are available to add entries to the host file on the 5520 appliance. I am familiar with using the CLISH and navigating to >>Network from the main menu and the using the following command: hosts add 10.0.0.1 nbutest.nbappliance.lab nbutest host show - will provide an output of information in the file. Is there anyway to access the the host file by going through Support>>Maintenance(Enter Password)>>Elevate I believe you can drop in to the normal Linux directory structure and navigate to \usr\openv\netbackup... But where is the host file located and what is is called since most Linux articles seem to refer to \etc\hosts I have tried to use vi and view the hosts & hosts.conf files located in the \usr\openv\netbackup\bin directories, but they do not seem to list the same info as what I see when running hosts show through CLISH. Any assistance would be appreciated with the above. Thanks In Advance
How to Remove Duplicates Emails from MS Outlook 2010
Hi I have been using MS outlook 2010 POP3 account for a long time, but now I have face problem of Duplicates emails in my inbox. I have don’t know exact reason how this problems occur. Now I want to remove these emails because these emails hamper my work, when I have searched a specific email in my outlook account then I have got many duplicates emails and due to this reason I have lost more time in it. If anyone knows a secure solution for how to remove duplicates emails then please tell me.
Backup of SAP HANA with multitenant database container with netbackup.
Hi, I have one query? We have netbackup 7.7.2 and SAP HANA with multitenant database container. For one instance we have to do following configurations on SAP HANA studio: Create hdbbackint soft link from /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/hdb/opt/hdbbackint to /usr/openv/NetBackup/bin/hdbbackint_script for every database instance. The parameter file (initSAP.utl) must be specified for data in the SAP HANA database instance configuration. To specify the parameter file, go to Instance->Configuration-> global.ini > data_backup_parameter_file. The parameter file (initSAP.utl) must be specified for logs in the SAP HANA database instance configuration. To specify backup using the parameter file, go to Instance->Configuration->global.ini-> log_backup_parameter_file. To specify backup using the backint file, go to Instance->Configuration->global.ini-> log_backup_using_backint->SYSTEM = true. My problem is that how to configure backup for multitenant database container (For multiple Instance ) We have cluster "Dev" with multitenant database container having 3 instance "Dev" "Quality" and "SystemDB" The problem is that DBA is telling that create hdbbackint soft link from /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/hdb/opt/hdbbackint to /usr/openv/NetBackup/bin/hdbbackint_script . DBA inform us that,It is not possible due to Database instances in SAP HANA database will be in hidden mode. So we cannot create the links. Requesting you to help me in this. If I use the CLIENTS1 installer, I receive this message: ERROR: NetBackup client software for the Linux platform is not on this media. I guess I am confused as to which installer will work with 64bit RHEL? Can you all please advise? Thanks in advance.
