Services Backup Exec VSS provider cannot start
dear, i have some problem services backup exec vss provider cannot start after installing agent for windows. i install RAWSx64 in windows server 2008 R2. i use syamntec backup exec 2012 Version 14.0 Rev.1798 (64-bit). if i start services occur error "error 1053: the services did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." what's wrong i do? do you have solution?
BE2010 DLO: How to remove excluded backupdata from SQL database?
Hello, Backup Exec 2010R2 on Windows 2003 Server / SQL Server 2005. We have removed certain filetype from backups by adding that filetype into the global excludes list. We know that it should be safe to delete the remaining files from backups manually without breaking the SQL database. The problem is: These excluded files are still located in SQL database and they do not seem to disappear at all, and files have been excluded for several months now. Is it possible to remove these files from Database orcompress/reset or re-createthe database somehow? if it is possible, what is the safest recommended method? Regards, Jukka

Estimados: Tengo el siguiente error, tengo instalado BE 2010 R3 Sp4 DLO , al respaldar un archivo PST de usuario por DLO me muestra el siguiente mensaje de error : 1- Probé reparando la instalación como dicen algunas notas tecnicas 2- Actualizando el S.O. Windows srv 2008 r3 3- Actualización de firmware y drivers HP ProLiant DL360 G7 El servicio “dlomaintsvcu.exe” después de un tiempo se caenuevamente. Favor necesito una solución.
