VCS discovery windows
Hello Experts, As part of a monitoring solution, we have been relying upon the presence of below registry keys to detect presence of a VCS on Windows, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VC HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VCS\Base This however seems to be unreliable leading to false positives. I want an approach(could be a registry key/value) to detect a VCS with certinity on a Windows. Thank you! Ashish
Requests "by host" still shows "In Progress"
Using the "deployment ->hot Fixes" option to install package "vom-Patch-7.0.0.101" got frozen, the web application restarted and still shows as "In Progress" even after it came back. Checking theserver, the version was updated but if we check on the "deployment ->hot Fixes" its shows as "Not Installed" and "Requests" tab shows it as "In Progress" Can we stop/delete/update this taskso it wont show as it is?. the wizard wont allow cancelling as its "by Host" Type installation

If you had installed Storage Foundation for Windows (SFW) or Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) clients only (VCS Java Console or VEA), you cannot upgrade them to 7.0 version. To install the latest version of clients-only, uninstall its earlier version and then install the current version.
