System state failures in pure disk
Hello All, it was windows 2008 r1 Client backup is failing with system state(completing with 64%), and getting below errors. Error: 2: resource child process: snapshot required but there is nothing to snap: no such object Error: 2: name process: unable to process 'Shadow?Copy?Components': no such object troubleshooting steps: We have been checked all writers are in stable state, But still backup is failing with system state error. I am trying to do some upgrades to the firmware and drivers on a server containing a MSDP. Being new to NetBackup I recently took a different pool down, most likely related to shuting the server down while the pool was still processing. After going through that once I would rather be safe than sorry. I was given the command crcontrol --processqueueinfo however even hours after all of my SLP's that dup to this pool have been disabled it is still busy. Is there a way to manually (and safely) freeze and commit all changes so that I can bring the pool down?Solved1.5KViews0likes3CommentsPure Disk Pool
Good Morning Gurus of the NBU world. I have a question that I think I know the answer too But here goes anyway. I had a linux master server and a windows media server. The windows media server was connect to a PD device. Well, long story short, I rebuild the Linux Master and made it a Windows Master. The images that reside on that PD device are still there and not accessible to the new Windows Master. The question is, Do I need to redo the PD device and remove those images or is it a way to just delete those images with the nbdelete -allvolumes command?. Hi, about 2 weeks ago my NetBackup Server 7.0.1 suffered from an error code 129, now I have applied NB_7.0.1_ET2085566_1.zip is a NetBackup 7.0.1 Hotfix for NetBackup Servers using OST, but the problem is not solved. I have NetBackuo 7.0.1 in W2008 with 5 Media server W2008. 64 bits. And DataDomain 880with OS 4.9.2.0 using OST Ver. 2.2.3.0 Any help on this i will apreciate. hi, we have PureDisk 6.5 that was running fine, but recently i applied patch 6.5.1 and check all working fine then i applied 6.5.1.2 hotfix this applied successfully but after completion when i tried to login from web console and tomcat apache arror appears everytime.
