Symantec DLO
Hi, Just Iwant to know that One is customer who have 30 Desktop & laptop computer in their orginzationn,But IT person want to use Symantec Dlo for backup purpose,But there is one problem each computer isnot member of Domain. What I want ,is there is any way, where go and give domain credential to my computer ,with help of that, Workgroup computer can also use Symantec Dlo for backup... if possible please let me know.. Hi. This is my first time posting in this forum. I have recently encountered afew adwares on my office and personal pc. I have done many things and i ended up with my pc being faster again but with an server execution error. Whenever i startup my computer, installservices64 would give me server execution error. Another thing is that when i right click and choose Personalize or Screen resolution, the server execution error would show up again. Lastly, when i press the start button and go to PC settings, it would hang and crash eventually. I am guessing there is a missing registry or some settings behind deleted by the virus. PLEASE HELP!

Trying to Restore a file backed up from a NDMP policy type
Hello, Even though my restore job completes successful - no file(s) are being restored. I tried restoringboth just the individual file itself and the entire directory folder where the file exist.. I do see some errors in the job details and was wondering if I could get some assistance on what to do next. We have a master/media server on a unix oracle solaris 10 environment. The file Im trying to restore was backed up from our oracle 7120 zfs storage applicance and was backed up as NDMP type. All backups have finished successfully. Symantec Desktop & Laptop Option ?
Hello everyone, Our organization have 40 desktops, now my boss want to backup files and folders (mostly MS Office file) on those desktops to a NAS on the system. I want to ask if Symantec Desktop & Laptop Option can do this ? Can it schedule backup tasks like Monday it will do Full Backup and from Tuesday to Sunday it will do Incremental Backup ? Can it do Granular Recovery file and folder on each desktop ? If it not, what Symantec Solutions can do this ? Thank you & Best regards.
