Can anyone point me in the direction of some good articles or info on removing clustering all together. Here is our setup, 2 physical nodes, SFHA 5.1 SP2, 2008 enterprise 64bit, SQL 2005. We just don't need the clustering component anymore and are looking to actually virtualize this workload at some point as well.Solved4.2KViews2likes11CommentsUn Installing SQL Server 2008 R2 from Passive Node
We have an Issue on one of our Veritas Cluster sitting on Windows 2008 (6.0), SQL Server 2008R2 was not Installed properly on the passive node, when they tried to upgrade the SQL Service pack from RTM to SP2 there were errors with respect to the location where the binaries were Installed on the passive Node. Does anyone know what steps I need to take to Un-Install SQL Server 2008R2 from the passive node and then re-install with the right configuration. Hello, I am trying determine the best way to remove all non VCS VRTSx packages from a solaris server(s) ansd leave CVS packages Physical servers are being migrated to solariszones and part of the process is to remove all VRTSx packages from the local zone. But if the physical host was running VCS then I need to leave these 2 packages installed in the zone VRTSvcsvr - VERITAS Cluster server Agent VRTSperl - Perl 5.8.6 for VERITAS I do not think simply excluding these packages from the pkgrm command would be good enough. Since there are package dependencies. Does anyone know how I could determine all the package dependencies for these 2 packages ? I have not been able to find any type of matrix that lists this. Not all VRTS packages have a `depends` file pkg dependencies. Any help is appreciated. ThanksSolved855Views0likes2CommentsVCS new volume created.
